Ryan & Bri Oliver
When 15-year-old Ryan joined a McDonald’s location in Surrey, BC, as a Crew Member, he only wanted extra cash to buy the latest 90’s fashion trends. Once he started working at McDonald’s he felt accepted and respected so he didn’t think of being anywhere else. He did not think that 16 years later he would be married to his co-worker, Bri, and that they would be the proud owners of their first restaurant. Over those years, he went through the ranks – from a crew member to shift manager, restaurant manager, and mid-management positions at various corporate functions in Vancouver. Today, the couple own three McDonald’s locations in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. McDonald’s has never just been a job for Bri and Ryan, it has played a part of their life for so many years that they can’t imagine life without it.
Vinod started his McDonald’s career as a Crew Member in India. His high work ethic and drive got him promoted to General Manager within 6 years. His adventerous spirit took him to Fiji where he managed three McDonald’s restaurants. In 2014, he relocated to Canada where he had the opportunity to join Team Oliver and become General Manager for McDonald’s Whistler and Pemberton. In 2018 he accepted a position as Operations Manager of McDonald’s Sea to Sky and now oversees all things operations for the 3 restaurants. Vinod and his family have made Squamish home and enjoy attending sporting events, trying new vegetarian cuisine or you can spot him on the cricket pitch during the season.

Sheryll has been with McDonald’s for over 12 years, starting as a part-time Crew Member. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work and grow in various locations and leadership roles. She fell in love with Whistler and the Sea to Sky corridor. When Ryan and Bri purchased Whistler and Pemberton McDonald’s, she accepted the opportunity to stay and continue her career development with McDonald’s without hesitation. Sheryll is often described as the heart of McDonald’s Sea to Sky. Her thoughtful nature helps our staff feel valued and appreciated. When not working, you can find her trying out new dishes with family and friends, whether that is cooking new recipes or dining out. She takes full advantage of living in the corridor no matter the season, typically at the lakes with family in the warmer months or snowboarding in the winter months.

Market Facilities Manager
Bradley’s natural ability to take care of all the fixing, replacing and tinkering made him a welcome addition to McDonald’s Sea to Sky. He never has a repeat day as he ensures all our guests both internal and external have a great experience in all 3 restaurants. We thank Bradly daily for keeping our equipment well-functioning, perfect climate, sparkling clean restaurants and homey staff accommodation. He does all the behind the scenes work that keeps our restaurants functioning. He likes to spend his time with his family exploring our beautiful backyard. So, outside of work you will catch Bradley on his snowboard or mountain bike, unless he is building a bike.
